Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Description
These chocolate chocolate chip cookies are guaranteed to have serious chocolate flavour in every bite.
Ingredients
- 285g cups white granulated sugar
- 225g butter (softened)
- 2 medium eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 280g plain flour
- 80g cocoa powder
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 360g chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 175C (350F).
- Beat sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Stir into butter mixture until well blended.
- Mix in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough 5cm apart onto a baking tray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or just until set.
- Cool slightly on the baking tray before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
